Ray is the senior partner of Nightlinger, Colavita & Volpa. He and his wife, Pat, have been married for 52 years and reside in Washington Township.

 

Ray graduated from Bishop Eustace Preparatory School in 1969 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from LaSalle College in 1973.

 

Ray began his accounting career at the national accounting firm of Haskins & Sells. Later he took a position with L.J. Nightlinger & Co. in 1975, and subsequently acquired the practice with his business partner, Ed, in 1985.

 

Ray's extensive background includes Commercial Accounting, along with a strong concentration in the areas of Governmental, Non-Profit, Utility and School Board Accounting. He has built a reputation for being very knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Ray is also a Registered Municipal Accountant (RMA) as well as a Certified Municipal Finance Officer and Certified as a Continuing Professional Education Sponsor in NJ.

 

Ray has participated in numerous audits of Municipalities, Boards of Education, Public Utility Authorities, Banks, and others types of entities.

 

Ray has been active in various community activities, including the Monroe Township Youth Soccer, the Knights of Columbus, the Monroe Township Historical Society and the Williamstown Jaycees.
